Long before Valentine’s Day become a rage, these dishes held centre court when it came to love, romance or even affection to a guest.
They may not hold the same stature as a red velvet cake or a chocolate mousse when we talk of love (read: valentine’s Day) today, but there doesn’t undermine these dishes of love that were especially designed to express love, gratitude or even honour a guest or a beloved.
