Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Wheat flour
  • 3/4-1 cup - Sugar
  • 3/4 cup - Ghee
  • 14-16 - finely sliced Almonds for garnishing
  • 2.5 cups - water

How to Make Aate Ka Halwa

  • Boil the sugar in water until it dissolves.
  • Heat the ghee lightly in a heavy-bottomed vessel.
  • Add the wheat flour and saute until golden brown.
  • Gradually add the sugar syrup, stirring continuously so that no lumps are formed.
  • Cook until all the water has been absorbed.
  • Garnish with almonds and serve.
