How to Make Butter Chicken Masala:

  1. Marinate the chicken using paste made with salt, chilli powder, lemon juice, ginger, and garlic. Set aside for 2 hours.
  2. Cook tomato puree, red chillies and diced onion for 5 to 6 minutes and then grind the mixture.
  3. Heat oil and butter in the pan, add the ground paste and sautee till oil separates.
  4. Then add garam masala, cashew paste, marinated chicken, and curd.
  5. Cook for 10-15 mins on medium flame.
  6. Garnish with fenugreek leaves.
  7. Serve hot.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - Chicken
  • 200 gm - Tomato puree
  • 4 tbsp - Butter
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 1 - Onion
  • 7 - Red Chillies
  • 1 tsp - Ginger Garlic paste
  • 2 tsp - Lemon juice
  • 2 tsp - Curd
  • 1 tbsp - Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 6 - cashews (ground to paste)
  • Salt to taste
